Taking to Twitter to share his idea, Lane Griddle suggested that people in self-isolation decorated their homes to provide something positive and cheerful to do and enjoy. He suggested driving around to see everyone else’s lights by car. Getting on board with the idea, many people have joined forces on social media, sharing snaps of their festive homes using the hashtags #christmasinmarch and #lightsforlife. Going all out, some people have put up their Christmas tree to continue the festive feeling indoors. Getting on board with all things festive, Hallmark Channel (opens in new tab) has even decided to add a series of Christmas movies to its offering, starting on 20 March.
